Forty bees, three flower patches, one question: how does a swarm decide? Scouts taste a patch and come home to dance. Who can see the dance is the whole experiment — change the waggle graph and the same bees, with the same evidence, reach different decisions at different speeds, and sometimes herd onto the wrong flowers. Our toy hive keeps its scouts isolated on purpose; this is the counterfactual, with wings. A playable sketch of a bee consensus-formation experiment — protocol-inspired simulation, not live model output. The real-model Beehive exhibit is still on its way.
